Some useful information

About money

• On your way by car: you will have to pay motorway toll. You can easily pay by credit card.
• In Cornudella de Montsant, there is no cash machine! You will have to bring enough euros with you. You can pay by credit card in some shops and restaurants.

About shopping

• In Cornudella de Montsant, there are a lot of shops to buy everything for your daily needs. Every wednesday and saturday morning there is a market at the central square.  There are food shops, bakeries, butcher's, a pharmacy, wine shops and very good restaurants - also in the nearby villages. 
  
• Entering the village, you will pass by the climbers shop "goma 2" on your right (coming from Reus). It offers everything you might have forgotton or you would like to buy. If your rubber of the climbing shoes is gone, you can even resole them! And after climbing, you might enjoy a cold beer and good food at the bar.

Climbing and tourist information

• There are a lot of very good climbing guide books available in the climbers shop "goma 2".
• For some months, some climbing areas in Montsant are closed for  protection of nesting birds. You will find detailed information in the guide books.
• For sightseeing, you will find a lot of information in the internet (e.g. www.theculturetrip.com). If you love to visit cities, Barcelona is a must. Tarragona is a beautiful roman town by the sea, only ca. 40 min. away from Cornudella de Montsant. Reus is the closest city with a lovely old town and a lot of shops.
